chronicling the chronic chronicler

… blacked out… came to…  blacked out, again.  again, we’re here… palavering… me and that old Devil.  i thought this time i should write it down.  no matter how far down it goes.  and, maybe leave a visual trail of the things i’ve seen… and the things that’ve seen me. here, and here.

goya's goat

first round of patreon stuff… done.  $1.oo patrons get early access to the project as the work happens, $5.oo patrons get that + full-size files of the final imagery (patreon here).  full project with process work and photos up on behance (here).

below there’s the final image, a work in progress, photo from the prado trips, and a link to the video talking about the story behind the image.

the goya drawing is done.  scanned.  and being colored, right now.

i’m thinking about a monthly delivery schedule for the patreon project.  i’m also thinking about a 1.5-2 month delivery schedule… i’ll be able to deliver higher quality content if i allow that amount of time between pieces.  i have several commitments to juggle while being abroad and i’d like to maintain high quality art output. the first round of content is still good for a halloween delivery, though.

again, here’s some links to the patreon project and my mailing list - patreon / mailing list
